House rules
1. Introductory provisions
These house rules govern stays in the Questenberk Apartments in Míča House, Náměstí Míru 26, 675 51 Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou, Česká republika, operated by Mitcha s.r.o., registered office Soběšická 1262/100, 614 00 Brno, Česká republika, company ID (IČO) 14398869 (the “operator”).
The house rules are binding on all accommodated persons and their visitors. The guest is made aware of them at the latest when making the booking and accepts them by checking in. The house rules supplement the operator’s Terms & Conditions.
2. Arrival, online check-in and departure
Check-in is possible from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 10:00 on the day of departure. Early arrival or late departure is possible only by prior arrangement with the operator.
Before arrival, the guest completes the online check-in (the legally required details of all accommodated persons for the guest register). Access information (building and apartment PIN) is sent after the online check-in has been completed, at the latest on the day of arrival. Access details cannot be issued without a completed online check-in.
Access details are intended solely for the accommodated persons; the guest must not disclose them to third parties. On departure, the guest leaves the apartment locked, closes the windows and switches off appliances and lights.
3. Accommodated persons
Only the persons stated in the booking and in the online check-in may be accommodated in the apartment, up to its capacity. Overnight stays of additional persons, including visitors, are not permitted without the operator’s consent.
Persons under 18 may be accommodated only when accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them.
4. Quiet hours
Quiet hours apply from 22:00 to 6:00. During this time the guest must behave so as not to disturb other guests, residents of the building or the neighbourhood – in particular by keeping loud conversation, music and other noise in the apartment and in the common areas to a minimum.
5. Prohibitions
In the apartments and in all common areas of the building it is prohibited to:
- smoke, including e-cigarettes and heated tobacco; smoking is permitted only outside the building,
- stay with animals – pets cannot be accommodated,
- hold parties, celebrations or other events, or invite larger numbers of guests or visitors,
- use open fire, candles, own heating appliances or fireworks,
- move furniture and equipment, take them out of the apartment, or tamper with the electrical installation or utilities,
- use or keep narcotic or psychotropic substances,
- bring weapons, explosives or other dangerous items into the building.
6. Use of the apartment and common areas
The guest uses the apartment and its equipment with due care and solely for accommodation. The historical building requires particular consideration; the guest takes care not to damage floors, walls, furniture and historical features.
Waste is sorted into the designated bins. Sanitary products, fats and other items that may cause blockages must not be disposed of in the toilet or drains.
The guest keeps the common areas (corridors, staircase, courtyard) clean and unobstructed and must always close the building entrance door.
The guest must report any defects, damage or deficiencies to the operator without delay so they can be remedied.
7. Safety and security
The guest is responsible for their personal belongings and valuables; the operator is not liable for their loss or theft unless they were kept in the locked apartment. When leaving the apartment the guest always locks the door and closes the windows.
The common areas of the building are monitored by a CCTV system with recording for security reasons. Details are provided on the Privacy page.
In the event of fire or another emergency, the guest immediately calls the emergency number 112 and informs the operator.
8. Liability for damage
The guest is liable for damage caused in the apartment, to its equipment or in the common areas of the building by the guest, the persons accommodated with them or their visitors. The guest must compensate the operator; the operator may claim reimbursement of the reasonable costs of repair or restoration.
The guest must report any damage caused by the guest or the persons accommodated with them to the operator without delay – via the contact form on this website, via Booking.com messaging (if the booking was made there), or through any other available channel (e-mail, phone, message in the customer account). Prompt reporting allows the damage to be remedied quickly and prevents it from spreading.
A breach of the smoking ban or the ban on animals in the apartment entitles the operator to claim the costs of extraordinary cleaning of the apartment.
9. Breach of the house rules
If the guest or the persons accommodated with them breach these house rules seriously or repeatedly (in particular disturbing quiet hours, smoking, keeping animals, holding parties, exceeding capacity), the operator may terminate the accommodation early without the guest being entitled to a refund for unused nights, and may require the apartment to be vacated immediately.
10. Final provisions
Operator contact: the contact form on this website; in urgent cases during the stay, the phone number stated in the e-mail with the access details.
The operator may amend these house rules; the version effective on the day of arrival applies to the stay. These house rules are effective from 19 August 2026. The Czech version is authoritative.
